At Tropical Belt uganda, Formal and informal training is undertaken at or offices and in the field. trainees include schools youth groups, women organisations, tertially insititutions,village groups and individuals.

We train on herbal reseaerch using community based managment information systems (CBMIS) this is an informal program where different species of trees and shrubs are collected using the indeginous knowledge of elders, attached to scientific research, diagnose, tested and later develope in a product.

Under formal traning, indegenous knowledge and reserach is combined and developed into workshops, seminars and lectures.
